Trifexis
Trifexis is a chewable tablet used for the prevention and control of fleas as well as a prevention of heartworms and heartworm disease! Trifexis uses the Comfortis flea tablet as a combined tablet for the prevention of fleas, so please see the Comfortis information under Flea and Tick Control. This tablet also treats and controls intestinal worms in the realm of adult hookworms, roundworms and whipworms. This tablet like the other, needs to be given once a month for continuous coverage.
Heartgard
Heartgard is a chewable beef flavored soft tablet that has medicine to prevent heartworms inbedded to seem like a treat in form. Heartgard also is used to prevent and control intestinal parasites such as hookworms and roundworms. If you have a dog that is hard to give a pill to, give this tablet/treat to help aid in the care of heartworms! Your dog will think it’s getting a treat once a month for the rest of its life!
Revolution
Revolution is a topical flea prevention and control, as well as a heartowrm preventative! Revolution needs to be applied every month to continue with an overall coverage for fleas and heartworms. This solution also treats and controls intestinal parasites such as adult hookworms, roundworms and whipworms. Revolution also treats and controls ear mites and sarcoptic mange as an added bonus!
